Workplace and Third Level Educational Training
I offer expert training to promote DEI, including Neurodiversity Awareness Training that explores workplace accommodations and experiences, DEI in Higher Education Training with practical strategies for underrepresented groups, and Unconscious Bias Training that helps identify and reduce biases through interactive tools and self-assessment. These programmes empower organisations and individuals to create more equitable environments.
The training I offer are:
Neurodiversity Awareness Training
Being neurodiverse myself and having been a job coach to autistic people and people with other conditions within Neurodiversity, I have seen first hand the impact of neurodiversity in the workplace and the impact that Neurodiversity Awareness Training can have in reducing the workplace stress of those with Neurodiversity and those wanting to learn more about the conditions within neurodiversity and how they can be accommodate.
Through my time with Dell Technologies, Bank of Ireland and businesses in the area of empowering people with Neurodiversity I have developed a training program designed to inform, educate, empower and provide thought-provoking exercises that will increase your knowledge around Neurodiversity.

DEI in Higher Education Training
Having achieved 180 Leaving Certificate points and spent seven years in higher education, progressing from Level 5 to Level 9, I am acutely aware of the transformative power of education, as well as the gaps through which under-represented groups can fall during this journey.
I have developed a training program for higher education institutions that examines areas where all the stakeholders within higher education can educate and empower underrepresented groups in education and lead to a more inclusive education system where everyone can thrive.

Unconcious Bias Training
Throughout my time in Dell Technologies, Bank of Ireland and other organisations that are committed to empowering their workforce I have completed several Unconcious Bias training sessions. I began to understand how each training session is unique and how everyone got something of the session everytime they did one.
I have now developed my own Unconcious Bias training program that looks at how Unconcious Bias plays a role in the recruitment process, the affects that bias has on underpresented groups in recruitment and what steps a business can take to remove this bias and start to higher based on skills and aptitude rather than other factors in the recruitment process

Together with Rathmines College of Further Education, I have developed an 8 week job coaching programme designed to teach people with disabilities (or job coaches to people with disabilities) the skills of how to find employment. This course is designed for those who may have the skills to do the jobs that they are applying to, but aren’t getting their foot on to the employment ladder.
Most job coaches, or job coaching programmes for people with disabilities explore the persons CV, Cover Letter and job interview skills. I don’t just look at those factors. This course explores how to use strategies such as self-reflection, slowly developing a network, where to find disability-friendly companies, where to find the right jobs for you, developing your personal brand, developing your LinkedIn profile and finally then looking at CV’s, Cover Letters and job interview skills.
As part of this each week I invite a guest speaker to join us to discuss different areas of recruitment or employment. This could be people from disability-friendly hiring companies that have expertise in recruitment, talent acquisition, interviews or AI and recruitment.
